All kambium exterior architectural millwork
is manufactured from KLEER
TM Lumber.

Kleer™ is expanded, rigid cellular, white PVC superior to wood in virtually any non stress bearing application. It has been developed with a small-cell microstructure and with a density similar to white pine. Kleer™ has a unique and unparralled range of physical properties, with a texture and uniformity that make it the next generation of exterior trim. Kleer™ looks and feels like wood, while addressing most of the common problems associated with exterior applications of wood.

Kleer™offers an array of weatherability features not found in any known woods. These include resistance to moisture, rot, mildew, cupping, splitting, delamination, or warping, Kleer™ is resistant to ALL insects, including termites and carpenter ants.

Kleer™can be applied with no adverse effects in areas where it will make direct contact with masonry, concrete, ground, or other potentially wet surfaces. Kleer™ is highly recommended for use in areas of high humidity or salt and fresh water environments.

Kleer™ does not require painting to maintain its superior resistance to weather. It will retain its' white color and shape regardless of the application, and will not mildew or rot. If desired, Kleer™ can be finished, using recommended paints for a fabulous finish that will last for years. (Some Paint Manufacturers will warranty their product on Kleer™ for up to 20 years.)

Another advantage of Kleer™ is that it shapes, mills, bends, and machines much easier than wood. Traditional woodworking equipment can be used to achieve practically any finished fabricated assembly you can imagine. Additionally, a wide range of assembly techniques, such as power nailing, stapling, and gluing can be utilized. Kleer™ is uniform throughout, with no core voids, grain or knots to worry about.
